Ros paints a diversity of subjects using oils, acrylics and gouache to create colour and drama. She is following Este McLeod's work and exploring ideas with shape and colour combinations. Her grandfather was a painter, excited by modern artists such as Klimt, Kandinsky and Vlaminck and her mother was a graphic artist who studied under Hesketh Hubbard. Ros has studied with the Open College of Art and with some inspirational tutors including Richard Webb, Jenny Mather, Stephen Rose and Peter Partington. In Tunbridge Wells as well as being a regular exhibitor at shows on The Pantiles Ros ran popular workshops on Exploring Acrylics. She is now exhibiting in Eastbourne and has also exhibited at Bankside Gallery in London and at Chartwell, Sevenoaks. Her work has been sold abroad to Germany, the USA, Australia and throughout the UK. Her paintings are available for sale and you can arrange this through the 'Contact' page.
